I am so sorry that I have neglected my poor readers! And here I am to tell you that I shall be neglecting them yet again.
We are going on a trip! It is sort of last minute, for we didn't know until the other day where we were going, but we knew that we were going somewhere!
We are going to a cabin in the mountains in Georgia. I am very much looking forward to it. It may be a bit chilly, but we hope to do lots of different things.
"Why?" you ask? Well Dad has Friday off of work...which adds to the Saturday and Sunday that he already gets off...which adds to the Monday that he gets off...which adds to the Tuesday that he is taking off!
This is to be the very first trip that we are to take with the dog, so I bet she'll have a ton of fun.
By the way.....I finally got the new Redwall book from the library!!!! It is called "The Sable Quean", and it had better be really good because I am soooo excited to read it. I have decided to have a little self restraint and wait until we leave on Friday. For I know that if I start it any time sooner I will have finished it before we got there :)
I am also reading the "Love comes softly" series. It is pretty good, except the only thing I am worried about is that when I see the movies that I will abhor them because I know the true story. I know that sounds silly, but I have heard that the movies are so much different from the books, and I think that the books are so good that the movies just have to be worse. Oh well, I will have to wait and see.
There are some of the things that I have been up to. Oh, and here's another!
Last week we had a "Little Women" play! We had been practicing for over two months, and finally felt ready enough to have it. (when I say "we" I mean the younger girls in our church) Now we are to have an "Anne of Green Gables" play!! I am so excited! We have even got two of the older girls to participate!
I have been re-reading the book, and I realized that I had forgotten what most of it was about! It is such a delightful story that I am sorry that I am almost finished!
Well, now you know a little bit of what I have been doing....
Have a great Easter everybody!
Joanna

I'm so excited about the Anne of Green Gables play! It will be so much fun! I need to read the book and pick out some music to go with it and design the program. Fun, fun!
