I have just come from practicing my two songs that I am going to play for our next recital, and they both have nearly all the chords being octaves in the left hand, so playing them one after another hurts (however, it is extremely fun, so I manage :) These songs of which I speak are "He's a Pirate" (fairly easy) which is the theme for the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and "Twilight Techno" (fairly difficult) which is techno music transcribed for piano, and is, without a doubt, epic.
Now, who else watched the Royal wedding this morning?
That was one important thing that happened today, but, more important is the thing that happened described in the post above.

I watched the royal wedding. Well, ok, most of it. I forgot about it until I heard it on the news when my alarm went off, so....more than half, but not all of it. I do want to go back and find a video of her walking down the isle, though. I think this is a girl thing :)
