This has been a very busy week.
Friday we went White Water Rafting in Tennessee, Today we had a Piano Recital, and all the other days we did a lot of school and making of Ice Cream.
We had to wake up at 4:00 (or thereabouts) to get to the Rafting center by 8:30 (we were 30 minutes or so early). We rafted for quite a while before lunch, which we had on the rocks beside the river. It was a ton of fun. I fell out of the raft once, which was interesting, and we went swimming and had a fun ride through the water, rescuing the fallen duckies as we went. (We got soaked over and over again.) Afterwards, my legs were sunburned (lobster red) from where my shorts stopped to my knees, and nowhere else (except maybe a little on my nose). Now my shoulders and wrists hurt from all that paddling (we were there for hours! I think maybe 5 or 6). But it was extremely fun, and I look forward to doing it again sometime.
This afternoon was our piano recital. I am so glad to be done with it, now I just have to memorize (and re-memorize) 6 sonatinas and 3 or 4 other pieces through the summer for guild (I hope to do the sonatina program this year). Very happy for it to be over though.
I thought about writing a really long post, but I don't feel like it anymore.

rafting was so much fun! I'm really glad we got to go together. Fun times. We should definitely do it again next year, don't you think? :)
