Old Macdonald Version II

This is another version of the story that I have just posted. Please comment.

The REAL story of Old MacDonald

If you have ever wondered what Old MacDonald did other than have animals that mooed or barked or quacked, this is the story for you.
Old Macdonald lived near the sea on the coast of the land of Eieio He had two dogs, whose names were Bingo and Ognib.
Mac was a very hard worker. Then he fell in love. The lady that he fell in love with was very pretty. And she had two daughters. The lady’s name was Miss Polly Wolly, and her daughter’s name was Yanky (short for Maryanika); their last name was Doodle. Miss Polly Wolly had another daughter named Suzanna, but she was already married to a man named Paul Dontyoucryfurme. After four days of courting, Mac asked Miss Polly Wolly to marry him; He was accepted, and they got married three days later.
A few months later, there was unrest growing at the MacDonald farm (which, by the way, is more like a
Plantation anyway), Polly Wolly and Yanky were both very tired of country life
and wanted to go back to the city. They could be very persuasive, and so Mac
decided to sell the farm, and live in a hotel till the end of his days. (Only because
Polly Wolly said that was what would be best for him.) However, in the city it was all noisy and boisterous. And Mac was very tired of it, and longed for his farm animals and chores. So one afternoon, when he was feeling particularily restless, Mac said to Polly Wolly, "Ya know Poll, I really miss my cows moo mooin' and my dogs bark barkin' and my duck quack quackin'; I want to go home again!"
"Oh, but Mac, dear," replied Polly Wolly, "I really don't like the country very much, it is so......countryish!" "An dert gets in me 'air all de time!" complained Yanky. "Ah, come on now girlies, you can stand it! I'll help ya! We can have lots of neighbors, an we cin even be close to town!" said Mac. And since he was the man of the house, he moved them all back out of the city.
Only one week after they had moved back to the country, Polly Wolly wanted to go back to her hotel in the city. But Mac convinced her to stay for another day. The next day, they heard a news announcement that the city that they used to live in, was infested by giant Cockroaches, and was now uninhabitable. "Well now," said Mac "aint yer glad that we didn't go back and live there again? See, I told ya that our roaches weren't that big."
And Polly Wolly never did complain about the country again.
And they lived happily ever after.
So now since you have read this, you can say that you have heard the real story of Old MacDonald.

Does it matter, Joanna? Can I just pick my favorite? Because I was rather partial to the first.....I can't help but worry that Mrs. MacDonald and her daughter might take it into their heads to require move to another city; one not infested with such prodigious insects. And if they did that, well, really where would we be! So I'd rather if it happened the other way.

Well, this was for a writing thingy, and Dad said that I should base the story more on Mac's life, instead of Bingo and Ognib(which, in case you didn't notice, is Bingo spelled backwards). So Dad said that I should change it. This is the one that I am using, since I had to change it.
And yet I still like the other one better.
But Leah, I think that Polly Wolly thought, "Hmm, perhaps we should stay in the country, our roaches really aren't THAT big." Also, Yanky faints at the mention of the word "Cockroach", so I think that she likes the idea of staying in the country.

I may write a sequal though. It probably will have something to do with aliens though.

Just for your information, I did notice that Ognib is "Bingo" spelled backwards. And I still think your story is way more clever than anything I ever wrote!

I like the first one better, too, though your dad is probably correct: the second one would be better since it's based more on Mac's life.
