Another from the World War II Memorial
One of fifty such column thingys.
This is very pretty. One of the many many bodies of water in DC.
I believe these are the many names on the Vietnam Memorial
The Lincoln Memorial
The Large reflecting pool was under construction at the time, so we didn't get to see it.
Just to show you how large this Memorial is.
Lincoln the Large.
His Famous Gettysburg address.
The Ceiling.
The view from the top steps of the Lincoln Memorial.
I found Waldo.
A contemplative Rabbit.
A spider. The biggest one I have ever seen.
Everything is huge.
The Capitol.
The Lake in front of the Capitol.
I think one of those statues is of U.S. Grant.
Aaron wanted a picture of the guard with a machine gun.
I think this is the Korean War Memorial.
The only picture of the White house I have... from the Washington Monument, because Pennsylvania avenue was closed for repairs.
The Monument again.
This might be either the Archives, or the Museum of American History. I don't remember.
We got mobbed.
Simon Bolivar.
The next day it rained.
And rained.
And Rained.
It also snowed, but by that time I was tired of taking pictures of weather.
A large and fast plane.
A see through plane.
The world's first military airplane.
A space shuttle.
The View from the apartment.
Brea enjoyed being with us.
She often looks worried when you point a camera at her.
Then she thought it might be a good thing to eat.
From the roof of the apartment.
Looking down.
Aaron's hand. He wanted a picture of this too.
And soon after this picture was taken, my camera just stopped working. So I didn't get any pictures of the Proctor people. And all my pictures of those Fiols were blurry because I think there was some jumping on the bed going on at the time that I was taking pictures of them.
And here ends my account of our trip.
Do not expect any more pictures for a while, for I no longer have a camera that works.
Have a great day.
Joanna~
