My Bylaws Part I

Remove Formatting from selectionRemove Formatting from selectionI am making a new group that consists of my dolls, I am using Robert's Rules as a guideline for the procedures.
Since every group, if it wants to be official, has to have bylaws, I am making some.
I will be posting the minutes of each meeting, and the treasurers' reports.
But right now, I will show y'all my bylaws.

The Bylaws

Article I

The following group is hereby named
The Body Of Christ

Article II

This group has been proposed to further the knowledge of its members and officers on parliamentary procedure.

Article III Members
Section I

The members of the proposed group and officers are as follows:
Joanna Klazinga
Ruth Klazinga
Laura Klazinga
Martha Klazinga
MaryAnne Klazinga
Andrew Klazinga
Rose Klazinga
SarahEllen Klazinga
Lottie Klazinga
Emma Klazinga
Juliette Klazinga

Section II

The eligibility and qualifications of a membership includes duties preformed according to the stature of them who are to be received as members, which must be done with willingness of heart. These duties are to be determined by the president.

Section III

The fees and dues of the memberships shall forthwith be paid to the honorary treasurer.

Section IV

All new members shall receive the rights and honours due to their rank.


Section V

If the aforesaid members break the rules of the group, consequences will be dire. And either resignation or disciplinary action shall proceed.


Article IV Officers
Section I
Order of rank:

President
Vice-President
Secretary
Treasurer
Sergeant in Charge
Honorary Members
Dishonourary members

Section II

The duties of the Honoraries are as follows:
President; the president has the role of the chairperson.
V.P. the V.P. assumes the role of president when the real president is not available.
Secretary; writes the minutes.
Treasurer; keeps track of the monies.
Sergeant in Charge; quiets the squabbles.
Honourary Members; are allowed to vote.
Dishonourary Members; are not allowed to vote.

Section III

Each of the officers' term of office is exactly one year, and then they may run for re-election.

Section IV

New members are voted in by role call, new officers are voted in by ballot.

Article V Meetings
Section I

Regular meetings shall take place once every fortnight.

Section II

Annual meetings shall take place once a year.

Section III

Special meetings shall take place whenever called.

Section IV

The Quorum of at least 5 members and 1 Officer is needed to proceed with the called meeting.




That was only the first five articles. And there are 11 articles, but I have not finished writing the last six, so I will leave that till next time.
